At least two dozen Quads attended the NCSDA Golden State Roundup over
the Memorial Day Weekend. John Flora and Dolores Ferrero served as the
General Chair, and Bill van Melle called several tips in the Challenge hall.
In June, Jim Davis, Pat Ho, Bill Hoover, Dodie Hoover, Betsy Lasarow-Tozzi, Sue Lietz-Davis, John Sybalsky, and Bill van Melle attended the Academy for Advanced and Challenge Enthusiasts convention in Ohio. Over the 4th of July weekend, Pat Ho and Bill van Melle attended the IAGSDC convention in Anaheim. The second weekend in July, Jim Jones, Luise Jones, Julia LaChance, and Michelle LaChance attended the ASDSC Fun Weekend in Grass Valley. Meanwhile, back in Palo Alto, we had the opportunity to dance to Scot Byars and CJ Smith on a couple of Sundays when our club caller John Sybalsky was out of town. On Sunday 6 August we will be dancing at the Santa Clara County Youth Fair. Julia and Michelle LaChance are the latest Quads to join the team for the 50th Jubilee, coming up this October in San Jose -- they will be working on organizing the Youth program. |
